i would like this forum to be as courteous and friendly as possible. i ask that all members and guests be open minded and fair. not everyone will agree to some of the views and opinions contained within this forum, but please approach them civilly with maturity.
the world can be a harsh place as it is and i am no saint, but i wouldn't like to see any of that harshness, bitterness, and anger seep into this forum. so, i plead with you that we all be nice and respect each other's views and opinions even if they conflict with your own.
two common beliefs i like to live by is: "do onto others as you would have them do onto you." and; "people should have the right to do what makes them happy, but that right ends where my nose begins."
the things i will act upon are: abusive language and profanity, slandering or flaming someone or their views, spamming within the forum, obscene comments against another, and Fanboys

a little bit regarding Fanboys Wikipedia defines: "Fanboy is a term used to describe any individual who is devoted to a single subject in an emotional or fanatical manner, or to a single point of view within that subject, often to the point where it is considered an obsession." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FanboyUrban Dictionary says: "A pathetic insult often used by fanboys themselves to try and put down people who don't like whatever it is they like. An arrogant person who goes into an outburst every time something he likes is questioned. Fanboys usually accuse others of being fanboys. If you insult something that a fanboy likes, he will spam your computer up and try to insult something that you like. Fanboys usually use the word 'own3d' if they beat someone. A person who loves something without question. A person who has an undying urge to sway everyone that is not a believer of the belief system they have..." www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=fanboyin regards to airsoft, i'd like to add that Fanboys tend to talk as if they are experts regarding tactics and gameplay, but have neither served in law enforcement or the military. in my opinion, having a family background does not hold much water with me. the "you should listen to me cause my parents are in the police or army" means diddly-squat and shows your low level of maturity. Fanboys tend to also be socially inept. they keep spewing out their ideas and beliefs even though you have dropped hints that they should stop because no one gives a care. they also tend to call themselves 'pro' because they have played airsoft for years even though they don't belong to any locally or globally recognised competitive organisation for airsoft and keep personal records or scores of 'kills'. i tend to find these people annoying and have experienced the negative atmosphere they bring to airsoft games and forums. please be aware that i will as politely as possible dissuade them from attending my games and limiting their views on this forum. sometimes enough is enough. it's absolutely appreciated for anyone to state their views, opinions, and knowledge regarding something, but please be open-minded, polite, and courteous if someone doesn't agree with you.
